playing catch up
It's been a busy few days and will continue to be for lil Colton and Sulley! We had a fun time yesterday at Cox farms. Even though we won't carve a pumpkin this year, we left with a small, baby pumpkin in hand -- perfect for colton and sulley to stare at. I'm sure sulley will do her best to try and eat it.
The gang (minus two friends) - lounging amongst the pumpkins!
Once again, having fun in the BOB--all snuggled up and warm on a cool fall day.

Same shizzle, different dizzle
Same shizzle, different dizzle-- that's my favorite saying for Colton and Sulley... yup that's right, everything is pretty much stizzle qizzle for shizzle. Translation - status quo!
We're almost at 6 months and it's wild!! As i mentioned before, Sulley can roll over both ways and Colton's still working on rolling from his back to his tummy. We've almost mastered that fine art and are still working on sitting up. Both kiddos have extremely strong legs and are jabbering more and more each day...especially Colt dog. They are smiling and laughing at each other along with grabbing each others hands, arms, and other appendages. For the most park, Sulley thinks that Colton's hands are a chew toy! ha! at any rate, our little people are just as cute as can be. Our next appt with Dr. M isn't until the second week in november so i'm sure we'll have more fun things to report then. For now, we'll leave you with you these cute pics...

Redskins...
Colton and Sulley enjoyed a day away from us while we went to the Redskins/Rams game. Jason and Diana were kind enough to watch the kids and had fun taking them to Shirlington for lunch and also playing with them while watching the game on tv! Despite the terrible game and sickening loss to the Rams, we had lots of fun tailgating with our friends from Richmond. Thanks again to Jason and Diana who watched them all day!! (They slept great last night -- thanks!!!!)

A Perfect Day to BOB around DC in all of our awesomeness
Greg and I have been waiting almost 2 months to finally use our BOB Revolution jogging stroller. Well... today was such a beautiful day that we decided try it out and see how it worked. After installing the handlebar console, adjusting the straps and situating the kids, about 45 min later, we were finally on our way. Amazingly enough, the stroller fit through our doorway! (A common problem among double wides) And so we started to BOB around Fairlington... it's amazing how easy it is to push the DP's in the stroller and how much easier it is to control vs the tandem snap n go. The stroller made what was once 'mountains' on the sidewalk into mere molehills. Not only does the 12" front wheel swivel or lock but the shocks on the tires are amazing! Not to mention, there is a ton of room inside the stroller; whether they're sitting or laying, there is plenty of room for the DP's to stretch out! Say goodbye to cramped legs! MOOOVE over tandems, the BOB is here.
We were having so much fun BOBing around Fairlington that we decided to BOB around downtown DC at the Eastern Market. Not only was everyone commenting on how cute our twins were, but people couldn't quit eyeing our mac daddy stroller...not only is it huge, but it's orange! I was sensing some serious stroller envy...
PS - The stroller is awesome, i'm seriously thinking about installing spinners on the tire rims.

Thursday Evening
One of my favorite things to do when daddy gets home is to play with him on the couch while mommy finishes cooking dinner. Sometimes i just sit there in his arms while daddy watches the highlights on SportsCenter and ESPN. He always explains the plays so when im a big kid, i'll understand how to play lots of sports.
Have you heard the news? Mommy told me that our new friend was born last night... Emmeline Olive Brugger. I heard she's a cutie!
Sometimes I am a little mischevious and try to push my daddy's buttons, especially while he's eating dinner. I like to babble and make loud noises at the animal mobile in the swing, but daddy thinks i'm really sad because im not in his arms. After he finishes eating dinner, i sit with him on the couch too and sometimes even try to eat his favorite toy--- the remote!!
I'm excited also to meet my new friend Emmeline! We can have tea parties together!
