Debut!

As you can imagine, our first 'departure' home from the hospital was bittersweet! We were sad that Colton couldn't come home this evening but we are excited to have Sulley home. Before we can even get a nap, Colton should be home.

After dressing Sulley in an outfit 3 sizes too big, we packed our goodies and headed out.  We laughed at ourselves as we so clumsily tried to put her in the car seat, not really knowing if we had strapped her in correctly.

Upon our arrival home, we immediately changed her clothes as she already spit up on her new dress.  The pile of laundry is growing by the minute...the burp cloth, the changing pad, her "coming home outfit, and the list is ever growing.  Go figure, the fun is just beginning.  Other than that, the first few hours have been great, we've only heard few peeps out of her, one close to the time of her feeding and another as we changed her diaper. We've successfully administered medications without screwing anything up, so things look to be in our favor. Tonight should be fun.

Yay! So happy she's home! I'm sure Colt 45 is going to right behind her! :)

Congrats Greg and Laura. I know what you mean about the car seat thing. Everything happens so fast when you're bringing them home the first time. Did you drive 7 miles per hour going home? I had Max's belt 2 notches too high and forgot the head cushion for his tiny head in that seat the first time. Oh well. He's doing great now so what he doesn't know won't hurt him.

So exciting! I can't wait to visit my niece and nephew in their own house! Cousin Luke is very excited too since he has not seen his new cousins yet, being too young to go into the NICU. xoxoxo jen

Selfishly I will always remember that Sulley came home on my B-day! It was the best present I could have hoped for. And I LOVE the pic of them together in the crib. Save that for when they are teenagers and fighting over the car!

I'm so glad that Sully is home. You're right..now the fun begins. It's very bittersweet. Hearing that she is home has brought tears to my eyes...darn hormes. Congratulations and I'm sure Colton won't be far behind. If I can do anything to help, even act as a lending ear, please call.

i hope colton's coming home soon!! camilo didn't even get a single peak of macado's! he loves noise and always sleeps in public places (and screams at home, it's great!) i love the bumbo, i recommend it since drs say to keep them off their backs during the day to prevent flat heads from sleeping at night on their backs... camilo likes to see what's going on and laying on his belly doesn't grant him the views like the bumbo! keep up the posts! i love seeing how the babies are doing!!
